VTA Banquet
Friday
The annual Virginia Thoroughbred Association (VTA) awards banquet is scheduled for Friday at the Sheraton Inn in Fredericksburg.
The evening will start with cocktails at 6 o’clock followed by dinner, the awards presentation, and the induction of the first members of the Virginia Equine Hall of Fame. After the ceremonies, a dance will round out the evening.
Michael Hughes, executive director of the VTA, says that reservations can still be made by calling the VTA office at 347-4313.
He also said that those whc would like a room reservation can receive a discount by reserving the room through the VTA office.
