The Sperryville Rescue Squad made two runs on Wednesday, Feb. 22. First, they took Teddy Matthews from his home in Castleton to Culpeper Memorial Hospital; afterwards, they carried Betsy Murray from an automobile accident at the intersection of routes 522 and 231 near Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial Hospital. ^

On February 26, this unit again made two calls. Dennis Ralls was transported to Culpeper Memorial Hospital from his home in Old Hollow near Sperryville and Mrs. Daisy Fincham of Culpeper was taken from the home of George and Mitchell Jenkins in Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

The Flint Hill Rescue Squad took Bill Cameron to Warren Memorial Hospital from a snowmobile accident in a field in Huntly on Feb. 26. Also on that day, the Flint Hill Fire Dept, was called to a fire in a dumpster at Huntly.

On Feb. 27, Thomas Williams, Jr., was taken from an accident on Rt. 729 near Flint Hill to Warren Memorial Hospital and then was transferred to Winchester Memorial Hospital by the Flint Hill Rescue Squad.

Flint Hill Rescue unit took Mrs. Ethel Pullen from an auto accident Wednesday morning to Fauquier Hospital, Warrenton.
