Sunday guests of Mrs. Ethel Tyner and Miss Nellie Atkins were Mr. and Mrs. David Tyner and James Bloggett of Palmyra, Mrs. Charles Lipphard and children, Philip and Melanie of Oxon Hill, Md., Mrs. Mabel McCalahan and Mrs. Lois Frazier of Warrenton. Mrs. Jack Wayland and Mrs. Carson Johnson spent the weekend in Hagerstown, Md. with Mrs. Chester Butler. Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Nethers were recent weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bolyard and family in Keyser, W. Va.

Mrs. Mary Quaintance spent from Tuesday through Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Sanford in Orange and was in Charlottesville Wednesday.

Dinner guests Saturday evening of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer and son Fred were Mr. and Mrs. Francis Updike and daughter, Suzanne of Culpeper and Mrs. B. M. Varner.

Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne were Mrs. Peachy Warren, Katherine and Chip and Mr. and Mrs. David Lyne and Heather, all of Warrenton.

Mr. and Mrs. George W. Hawkins returned to their home Thursday after spending two months in Clewiston, Fla.

Recent weekend guests of Mrs. Catherine Brown were Mr. and Mrs. Strother Brown and sons John and Tom of Jackson Heights, N. Y., Dr. and Mrs. Larry Kushner of Gaithersburg, Md., Mr. and Mrs. Edward Payne of Fairfax and Benny Brown of Winchester.

Mrs. Maurice Manuel returned to her home in Browntown last Thursday after spending several days with her sister, Mrs. B. M. Varner.
