Tests Offered
A sight and hearing mobile screening unit, sponsored by The Rappahannock Lions Club will be at Trinity Episcopal Church parking lot in Washington* cm Saturday, Sunday and Monday, March 4, 5 and 6. Free tests will be offered to adults and children from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.
On Tuesday, March 7, the unit will be at the elementary school from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. to screen students who have returned signed parental permission slips.
Postponed
The annual year-end awards party for the Virginia point-to-point circuit has been postponed until April 28. Mrs. Robert Palmer, organizer of the event, said that the date was changed because of the postponement of the Fairfax Point-to-point Races until April 22.
