Rappahannock County, subject to the November election.
Corbin, who is 50 years old, is a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He has been employed with the Arlington County School System and at one time was a guard at State Corrections Camp 11 at Culpeper.
Corbin declared that, if elected he would be a fulltime Sheriff, that this would be a full-time job with him.
This is the second person to announce his candidacy for the Sheriffs office. John Walker Jenkins, a former deputy and one-term sheriff, has thrown his hat in the ring. The present Sheriff, W. A. Buntin, has not made his intentions known.
