The Rappahannock Lion’s Club will hold its annual Bland Music Contest on Saturday, February 24th, at 2 p.m. in the library of the Rappahannock Elemetnary School. In honor of James Bland, composer of the Virginia State Song, “Carry Me Back To Old Virginny," the Lion’s Clubs of Virginia awards nearly $5,000 in music scholarships each year.
