Although we may never hear of many acts of thoughtfulness, we have been told of one incident in Amissville on Monday when department plows blazed a trail for rescue squadsmen from their homes to the rescue building and then out again to answer a call from a mother-to-be in labor. Thanks to the help from the highway department, the baby was bom in Warrenton Hospital instead of at home or in a snow drift.
