Sunday luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke were Mr. and Mrs. Ashton W. Burke of Warrenton and Mr. and Mrs. Jennings Burke and daughters of Alexandria.

Mrs. Robert Canova and family of Roanoke were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Fairfax from Thursday until Saturday last week. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Calvert of Falls Church spent from Sunday until Tuesday with Mr. and Mrs. Fairfax.

Miss Frankie Keyser and David Tarwater, both of Bethesda, Md. were Thursday visitors of Miss Annie Miller Almond. Mrs. Irving Sisk called on Miss Almond Sunday afternoon.

Visiting Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett Sunday were Mrs. Mary Quaintance of Sperryville, Mrs. Henry Miller of Luray, Mr. and Mrs. James Massie and Mrs. W. G. Eastham, all of Amissville and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy DeBergh and son.

Calling on Mrs. Gabe Burke Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Roy Alther and family of Sperryville and Paul Burke and Jeff.

Miss Nancy Buntin left Saturday to return to her teaching position in the Bath County School System. Sheriff and Mrs. W. A. Buntin have returned home after a two week vacation at Martha’s Vineyard, Mass.

Mrs. Robert L. Humphrey Jr. of Middleburg was a guest of the Rev. and Mrs. Jennings Hobson for the past week.
