—Rappahannock News Photo/Sarah Latham LIGHTNING STRUCK THE STEEPLE of the Flint Hill Methodist Church last Thursday and tore off portions of it. Residents of that area were appalled by the ferocity of the electrical storm accompanied by rains. A stone wall at the Rappahannock Realty office was washed out and toppled over and basements were flooded in the village. A series of devastating storms have plagued the county, the latest Tuesday which claimed two lives.
