Miss Kay Lawrence was a guest for the weekend of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Harlow and family at Hampton.
Miriam Cummings of Washington, D. C. was an over night guest Monday of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Doyle.
Mrs. S. W. Riley and house guests, Mrs. Paul Newton, Michelle and Darrin of Brightwood and Mrs. Charlie Priest attended the Page County Fair Monday week where Mrs. Riley and Mrs. Priest were judges in some of the homemakers departments. Michelle remained until Thursday with her aunt and Uncle, the S. W. Rileys.
Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Doyle were honored with a surprise 25th anniversary dinner Saturday evening at the Quality Courts in Front Royal. Hosting the event were Mrs. Doyle’s son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Martin of Bethesda, Md. Guests included Dr. and Mrs. T. W. Armstrong, and Betsy, Dr. and Mrs. Lewis P. Armstrong, Tommy Armstrong, all of Culpeper; Mr. and Mrs. Tim Carney of Norfolk, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie McNemar and Melissa of Winchester, Mrs. T. W. Latham and Dickie Latham of Viewtown and Candy Todd.
