educational program to Wakefield students this week demonstrating such instruments as trumpet, piccolo, clarinet and sax in various sectional solos.

Other musical experiences for Wakefield students include calsses attending the “Folger Consert” at the Shenandoah Music Conservatory November 13.

Students in history and appreciation classes will also attend the National Symphony conert at the Kennedy Center on November 16. Later in the month a benefit performance for Wakefield students will be given at Washington by the Catholic University School of Music.

Wakefield’s boys and girls chorus will attend the National Symphony’s performance of “Pictures For Your Ears” at the Kennedy Center and the Vienna Boys Choir. A full Navy Band Concert is planned for the school, patrons and community in the spring.
