The Rappahannock Ski Area in Harris Hollow has been placed on the open market for sale. In a letter to the Rappahannock News dated October 22, Eric Adamson, general partner in Rapp Ski Limited, owners of the property, made the announcement.
According to Adamson, financing market at the present time has made the necessary financing unavailable. Though this could change, it unlikely.”
In July, the snow making equipment was removed from the ski area.
