from liability on account of injury or damage to persons, firms or corporations or property growing out of or directly or indirectly resulting from the installation, mounting, operation, repair, maintenance or use of any such signal wires, and In the event that any suit or proceeding shall be brought against the Company, at law or in equity, on account thereof, the Town shall defend the Company in any such suit or proceeding at the cost of the Town.
SECTION 7. The Company or its agents shall have the authority to trim trees upon or overhanging the streets, alleys, walkways or rights of way to prevent the branches of such trees from interfering with its lines or other facilities. All such trimmings shall be performed in a safe and orderly manner and, to the extent practicable for the proper maintenance and use of the Company's lines or other facilities, in compliance with the pruning standards of the National Arborists Association as in effect from time to time.
