He was impressed with the friendliness of people in Rappahannock and the pace of life in the county. “I was taking pictures in Washington (Virginia). I had to stand in the street for the photographs. A car was coming but it stood there and waited. The man greeted me after I was finished—he didn’t even use his horn. That wouldn’t happen in many places,” Erich noted with a wide smile of compliment.
“The difference between Los Angeles and San Francisco to Rappahannock is the difference between the earth and the moon,” he concluded.
Halloween
Movie
Cadette Troop 502 invites everyone in the country to the showing of a Halloween horror movie entitled “Terrornauts” on Saturday, October 27 at Rappahannock County Elementary School auditorium from 2 to 4 p.m.
Along with the movie which stars Simon Oates, Zena Marshall and Charles Hawtrey, will be three Laurel and Hardy Monoter cartoons. Donations will be SI per person to cover the cost of the film. Refreshments will be available.
