March
Of Dimes
Piedmont Technical Education Center will sponsor the annual March of Dimes Rock-A-Thon for residents of Culpeper, Madison, Orange and Rappahannock on November 16 and 17 starting at 5 p.m. and lasting through 5 p.m. Saturday. , Everyone is urged to participate in the 24-hour rock around the clock which will be held in the Food Services Department at PTEC. Those who can’t rock can help by sponsoring a rocker.
Food and entertainment will be provided to assure a 24-hour relaxed atmosphere for the rockers.
The March of Dimes will use the money raised in the Rock-A-Thon to support research into the cause of birth defects—the nation’s number one child health problem.
