Mrs. Carroll Quaintance and Mrs. Mary Quaintance were dinner guests Friday evening of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Sanford of Orange at the ‘Monticello Hotel in Charlottesville.

Janet Yates of Middletown and Lois Yates of Newport News were weekend guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Yates. Elder and Mrs. Elmer Skeen of Palmyra joined them for dinner Sunday.

Mrs. Brown Miller returned home Monday after spending ten days in Winston-Salem, N. C., with her grandsons, Mike and Mark while their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Murphy, attended a convention in Washington, D. C. The Murphys stayed in the Miller home and had as their houseguests, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lamonte of New York. They also visited Brown Miller in the Susan B. Miller Nursing Home in Woodstock.
