Hertz Endorsed
The Rappahannock Bar Association, at a meeting on January 3. unanimously endorsed attorney A. Burke Hertz of Flint Hill to replace retiring Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court Judge William Moffett.
Hertz, a long time resident of Falls Church and commissioner of the revneue there for 24 years, moved to Rappahannock four years ago. He maintains law offices in Falls Church and Washington, Virginia.
A graduate of American University, Hertz earned his law degree from Georgetown University. The 49-year-old attorney is a member of the Virginia Bar Association, the American Bar Association and treasurer of the Rappahannock Bar. He served on the executive committee of the Fairfax County Bar Association, as past president of the Northern Virignia Lawyers Association and as past dean of the Northern Virginia alumnae senate of Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity.
