Baumgardner began Friday’s committee meeting by going down % list of items designed to .help him determine the “philosophy of education” that will dictate expansion plans. As an example, a “philosophy of education” that places most emphasis on vocational education will require a different set of expansion plans than a philosophy that emphasizes preparation for college.
In the three hour session, however, the committee covered only half the items on Baumgardner’s list. From the outset, there was disagreement on what data to use.
