Out of 439 students who responded, 213" wanted course offerings to be increased above the state minimum while' 196 Teff curricula should remain at the current level. Preference for course of study was split with 197 students favoring academic and 194 favoring vocational. Three hundred and five students thought any
expansion of vocational programs should come at RCHS while 113 felt expension should occur at Piedmont regional school.
Support among students for increased elective offerings and gifted and talented programs ran almost four to one. Asked for their preference for a sixth subject, 24S picked study hall and 183 chose an elective subject.
Top choices for expanded curricula were Spanish language courses, personal typing and instrumental music followed by drama, advanced art, business math and bookkeeping.
Students gave highest priority for new or expanded facilities to cafeteria expansion, athletic facilities and rest room facilities. Separating academic needs
