Funeral services for John Lester Kilby Sr., of Culpeper were conducted Tuesday at the Geest-Johnson Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. John S. Farrar. Burial was in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper.
Mr. Kilby, 83, died Saturday, January 3, 1981 at his residence. A native of Culpeper County, he was the son of the late Ulysses Grant Kilby and Carrie Lee Fincham. He was a retired farmer and a member of Culpeper Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mamie B. Scott Kilby; a son, John L. Kilby Jr. of Culpeper; two daughters, Mrs. Frances K. Jacobs of Falls Church and Mrs. Mary Lee Poe of Amissville; six grandchildren and five greatgrandchildren; a brother, U. Jackson Kilby of Culpeper, and five sisters, Mrs. Rebecca Dyer of Burke, Mrs. Virginia Gaver of Falls Church, Mrs. ; Leuisc Gaver and Mrs. Otlie * of -Culpeper and Mrs. Virginia Kibliner of Annandale.

Dennis John Warren, 24, of Stafford died Friday, January 2, 1981 in Stafford County.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at the Stover Funeral Home in Strasburg by the Rev. Parker. Burial was in Panorama Memorial Gardens at Waterlick.
Mr. Warren was born June 14, 1956 in Altoona, Pa., a son of Pearl Warren Rinker. He was engaged in the farming and painting businesses.
Surviving with his mother and his stepfather, Elwood Rinker, are his widow, Crystal Lee Curry Warren; three children, Am&pda Leona Warren at home, and Lona and Lisa May of Harrisonburg; and eight brothers, Gary Hallman of Alabama, Richard Hallman and Harry Warren, both of Strasburg, Robert Hallman.
