“I was 13 when the Beatles came out. As soon as I saw them, I told my folks I wanted a guitar for my birthday. I m 30 now and I’ve been playing ever since.”
Since that original turn-on by the four lads from Liverpool, Steve Righter has performed professionally with rock ’n’ roll bands in his hometown of Hampton, in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Northern Virginia and D. C., all the while filling notebook after notebook with his original material. Now a lulltime carpenter, he lives in musical semi-retirement back in Harris Hollow with Margie, his wife and singing partner, and their two daughters.
