The Jordans were married November 25, 1930 in Flint Hill by the late Rev. P. W. Chelf at the parsonage. They have four daughters, Mary Finch of Hyattsville, Carolyn Brown, Flint Hill, Virginia Brown dPWashington, D. C. and Dimetrice Jordan, Marlow Heights, Md.; 13 grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.
The tiered anniversary cake was served by Nancy Miles of Washington, D. C. and Amy Brown of Flint Hill a granddaughter, poured punch. In charge of the guest book was Adrienne Brown of Washington, D.C., also a granddaughter.
Mr. Jordan is retired after working with the FMC Corporation in Front Royal for 32 years. Mrs. Jordan has been a cook for 30 years and is now retired. They are both active in church and community affairs.
For the celebration Mrs. Jordan wore a long gown of pink crepe with a chiffon overlay and a pink carnation corsage.
