The commonwealth attorney. his office assistant, deputies for • the commissioner of revenue and treasurer and sheriff s department deputies will all get approximately 13.5 percent increases in accord with a ruling from the state compensation board. The sheriffs raise in the proposed budget is nine percent bringing his salary to $20,250 while both the commissioner of revenue’s and treasurer's salary will be $20,475, an increase of five percent over their current compensation.
