stamp administration, the tola! increase for the public assistance fund is $29,459 or 16 percent.

To support the proposed $3,158,801 budget the county expects to receive $1,179,745 in revenue from local sources, an increase of 12 percent over the current year.

An addition, $149,571 will be transferred from accumulated county surplus to meet expenses with the balance of $1,829,476 coming from federal and state sources.

Without the transfer of surplus county funds, the proposed budget would require a tax rate of $6.90.

The tax rate for 1981-82 will be applied on the old, discounted assessment values on real estate. New 100 percent fair market appraisals won’t be implemented until the 1982-83 tax year.
