The Amissville Midget Baseball team started their season with a win against Piedmont Recreation Association at Hume, Thursday evening with a score of 14-4.
Brett Anderson was die winning pitcher. Tommy Jenkins had seven RBIs with a single, double and a triple. Brett Anderson and Mike Scott also had a triple each. Larry Legg was the losing pitcher for PRA.
