Her flowers were silk lilies and carnations and she wore a lily in her hair.
Bridesmaids were Cindy and Cathy Carroll, the bride’s daughters, and Mary Beth McCauley, sister of the bridegroom. They wore pale pink gowns designed like that of the honor attendant. They wore a halo of babies breath and carried bouquets of pink and white silk carnations.
Rebecca and John Michael Carroll were flower girl and ringbearer, respectively. Rebecca wore a pale pink crepe de chine dress with flowered front panel and carried a nosegay of pink and white silk carnations.
The bridegroom’s attendants were Mark Gelner and Stephen Carroll, and ushers included his brothers, Matthew and James McCauley.
The bride’s mother wore a long pale blue polyester dress while the bridegroom's mother chose magenta crepe. They each had a corsage of silk orchids.
A reception followed at the church social hall >yhere Miss Pamela Hitt kept the guest register and Ms. Helen Stokes served the cake.
Following their wedding trip to Nags Head, N.C., they are residing in Takoma Park, Md., where the bride is office manager of the Montgomery Hospice in Bethesda, and Mr. McCauley is managerowner of Pure Mountain Water Company.
