Mahoney
Joseph Raymond Mahoney, 71, of Huntly died Friday, November 13, 1981, in Winchester Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. John K. Burke Jr. Burial was in the Williams Cemetery at Chester Gap. -
Mr. Mahoney was born November 4, 1910, at Chester Gap, son of the late Joseph S. and Bessie Mae Williams Mahoney. He was a retired carpenter.
Surviving with his widow, Margaret F. Mahoney, are four daughters, Charlotte Butler of Front Royal, Giovinia Compton of Flint Hill, Esther Mahoney and Hester Schwartz, both of Huntly; a brother, James Daniel Mahoney of Front Royal; two sisters. Viola Heslep of Front Royal and Anna Belle Mahoney of Chester Gap; a stepsister, Sarah Sealock of Strasburg, and three grandchildren.
