Johnson
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary L. Johnson of Woodville will be conducted Thursday (today) at 2 p.m. at the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church by the Rev. William Lancaster. Burial will be in Woodville Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson, 87, wife of Clarence Berkley Johnson, died Monday, November 16, 1981, in a hospital in Lakeland, Fla., where she had been spending the winter months for several years.
A native of North Carolina, Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of the late James Harvey and Ella Carder and was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church. She was a retired teacher, having taught for years at the old Sperryville School, and she was a member of the Rappahannock Garden Club.
Besides her husband, survivors include one son, Dr. lames H. Johnson of Lakeland, Fla. and three grandchildren.
The family suggests expressions of sympathy be in the form of memorial donations to Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
