Dabney
Dick Dabney, 48, of Arlington died Monday, November 16, 1981 at his residence. He was a contributing editor to the Washingtonian Magazine, a columnist for the Washington Post and for Harpers. He was the author of four books, two of which were novels about Rappahannock.
He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Reba Lawson Dabney; his wife, Dana Elisabeth Dabney both of Arlington; three children, Norah and John, at home and Vaden of San Francisco, Calif.; one brother, Wythe Dabney of Flint Hill and a grandmother, Mrs. Norah Lawson of Arlington.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday from the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church in Washington, D. C., followed by a graveside service at 3:45 p.m. in the Flint Hill Methodist Church Cemetery.
