Residents of the county are invited to the Cancer Society's kick-off coffee this Saturday to meet the 1982 Crusade chairman, district captains and volunteers for the door-to-door fund raising drive and to enjoy a delicious assortment of refreshments, including tea. coffee, fresh fruit and cheeses.
The coffee, intended as a thank-you to volunteers and not as part of Crusade fund raising, begins at 10 a.m. at Clifton, the home of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Rodgers on Route 729 southeast of Flint Hill.
