To the editor:
Last week the paper published a report of the bus accident involving Roy Lee Knighting. 1 don’t think it should have been published.
Last fall when the assistant superintendent, Mr. Lysik, totaled a county car, nothing was put in the paper about it. In fact, he has had a second car that has had to be repaired but that’s hush! hush! Why is he considered any better than a bus driver?
Rappahannock County has eighteen good drivers but they are not appreciated by the people in the county. You very seldom hear of a bus accident in Rappahannock County. It was a snowy and wet morning last Monday. I hope Mr. Knighting comes out on top with his case.
