George Davis of Washington and Pearl Clarke of Amissville have been appointed to the Rappahannock County Electoral Board by the 20th judicial circuit court judges, effective March 1.
Replacing Jack Carney whose term expired, Clarke was named to a full threeyear term ending March 1, 1985. Davis replaces Lee Bird who resigned from the electoral board when appointed to the county’s board of zoning appeals. Davis will fill the remainder of Bird’s term which expires March 1, 1984.
Davis, former commonwealth’s attorney for Rappahannock, has been chosen chairman of the electoral board. Chris Parrish of Castleton, third member of the body, will continue as secretary.
