This Weekend
The championship game of the Rappahannock Slo-pitch softball league’s basketball tournament, a fund raiser for the upcoming baseball season, will be held Saturday, March 27, at Rappahannock County High School.
The finals will feature the Sperryville Brewers against the Rappahannock Rebels, a game that gets underway following the consolation contest between the Chester Gap Warriors and Federline Hawks.
In earlier semi-final rounds, the Rebels downed the Hawks, 81-76, in a hard fought battle while the Brewers exploded in the second half of their game with the Warriors to defeat Chester Gap, 52-39.
The action in the high school gym will begin at 6:30 p.m. this Saturday night. Admission will be charged.
