Sock Hop Set
A sock hop is scheduled for Saturday, April 3, from 7 to 10 p.m. at the elementary school. Both elementary students and their parents are invited to the event which is sponsored by the school's Student-Parent-Teacher Association. I

Given Award
Amissville Volunteer Fire I Department received a $500 I award from the Culpeper ' Chapter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars at a banquet held recently. Paul Poling attended the dinner meeting and accepted the check and plaque on behalf of the AVFD. The award was in recognition of community service.
Meeting Notice
