Responding to data included in his presentence report. Douglas acknowledged an earlier conviction for breaking and entering and assault on which he was sentenced to 12 months in jail. He said the charges grew out of a domestic dispute where he'd had an argument with his exwife and then kicked in the door and entered the house where she was staying.
