Racer
Karen Lea Racer, 22, of Hughesville, Md. died Wednesday, March 17, 1982. Funeral services were conducted Saturday at Hunts Funeral Home in Waldorf, Md. by the Rev. J. Shifflett. Burial was in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf. She was born March 6, 1960, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Richard Racer of Hughesville. She was the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Woodard of Washington and the late Carroll Racer Sr.
In addition to her parents and grandmother survivors include two sisters, Debbie Potter and Tina Racer and one brother, James Russell Racer.
Bruce
Miss Elva Gertrude Bruce, 91, of Woodville died Sunday, March 21, 1982, at her residence.
Graveside services were conducted Tuesday at the Sperryville Cemetery by the Rev. Kirby Shenk.
Miss Bruce was the daughter of the late Marcus W. and Inez Heaton Bruce. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Chloe B. Brown of Woodville, and a brother, Francis M. Bruce of Leesburg.
