Buford EL Edwards. 80. of Amissville died on Friday. September 10. 1982. at his residence.
Mr. Edwards is survived by his wife. Mattie E. Edwards of Amissville; four daughters. Mrs. Dora S. Carter. Mrs. Mabel E. Collins and Miss Mary E. Edwards, all of Washington. D. C. and Mrs. Alberta Clipper of Fredericksburg and seven sons. Robert Edwards of Bronx. N. Y.. William Edwards. Wilburt Edwards and Ivan Edwards, all of Washington, D. C.. Frank Edwards of Utica, Mich.. Warren Edwards and Earl Edwards, both of Germany.
Other survivors include two brothers. Kelly Edwards of Amissville and John Edwards of Washington. D. C.; a sister, "Mrs. Virginia Thomas, also of Washington, D. C.; 26 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday. September 16. at Bethel Baptist Church at Amissville by the Rev. Carter Alsberry. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Joynes Funeral Home in Warrenton.

Miss Mamie Maxfield Eastham. 88. of Manassas died Monday. September 13, 1982. in Prince William Hospital. Miss Eastham was born June 30. 1894 in isappahannock County, a daughter of the late Charles C. and Eve Alexander Eastham. Survivors include two sisters. Ada E. Bowersett of Denver. Colo, and Emma E. Coppedge of Sandston. Funeral services will be held on Friday. September l7. at 2 p.m. at the Flint Hill United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal.
