Series On Civilization Lord Kenneth Clark's widely acclaimed series. Civilization, will he presented in the old Washington school auditorium, beginning Saturday. September 18. at 8 p.m. The 13-episode series, shown previously on the public ! broadcasting system, will be introduced by Dr. Joseph P. Williman. professor of literature at Catholic University.
Methodist Services The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will have services every third and fifth Sunday, beginning this Sunday. September 19. at 9 a.m. The Rev. Merlin Shorb is the pastor and the public is invited.

Flint Hill Homecoming The Flint Hill United Methodist Church homecoming will be held Sunday. September 26 at 11:15. Ed Clark Of Vienna, a former lay speaker for the Rappahannock Charge will be conducting the service. Immediately following the service there will be a covered dish dinner at the fire hall. All are welcome. !
Missionaries To Speak Washington Baptist and Reynolds Memorial Baptist Churches will participate in the Shiloh Association's World Mission Conference to be held September 19-22 at Washington Baptist Church. Speaker at the 11 a.m. Sundav morning program will be Lolette Dotson, missionary on furlough from Bophuthatswana. South Africa. Speakers for evening t programs which begin at 7:30 p.m. will be John H. Ross, director of the Christian Society of Ministries for the Mid-Panhandle region of Florida (Sunday); Rev. Roland Brewer (Monday); Erica Morris from the Phillipines (Tuesday) and Edna Warren from Sante Fe. New Mexico ( Wednesdav). The public is invited to attend the Mission Conference. A coffee hour will follow each evening service, providing an opportunity for discussion with the missionaries.
Burke Reunion The Brew and Atha Burke family reunion will be held Sunday. September 26. at the Rappahannock Recreation Center on Route 211. near Washington. Familv members and friends are urged to attend and bring a picnic lunch
House Tour and Flower Sale The House Tour and Dried Flower Sale sponsored by the Women of Bromfield Parish will take place October 16 and 17. Tickets are available at the Parish Hall or from any member The Trinity Church Parish Hall is often now for church members wanting to help arrange flowers for the sale.
