Jail Buildings
The Mayor told the council that he had expressed to the county Board of Supervisors the desire of the town to keep intact the meat house and summer kitchen. outbuildings at the county jail, when the remodeling of the jail began. “These old buildings are valuable to the town,” he said.
“Let’s formulate a resolution to the county,” said Dorothy Hawkins.
“I told the Zoning Administrator that it was my opinion that the county would have to get a building permit for the jail," added Miller.
