Utility Substation
In two unanimous votes, the BZA granted Potomac Edison a variance and a special use permit to allow the utility to enlarge its Sperryville substation. According to Kenneth Nichols from Potomac Edison’s Luray office, the added facilities are required “to meet the energy needs of Rappahannock County.”
