uvenile and domestic relations court judge Burke Hertz invoked a 14-month sentence last Thursday on a Rappahannock man convicted earlier this year of assault and battery.

Hugh Pendleton Grigsby. 50. formerly of Castleton, was found guilty in January, 1982. of assault and battery against his wife, Pauline Grigsby. He was given 12 months in jail but the time was suspended on condition that he stay out of Rappahannock County, keep away from his wife, be of good behavior and refrain from alcohol consumption.
