AUSA meeting,

The Vint Hill Farms Chapter of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) will hold a breakfast membership meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at the NCO Club at VHFS.

Guest speaker for the meeting, which is open to the public as well as members of the AUSA, will be Maj. Gen. Harry E. Soyster, Commanding General of the U. S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM), of which Vint Hill Farms Station is a part.

Gen. Soyster is expected to comment on the INSCOM mission, and the future of VHFS, a major employer in our area, in the face of proposed federal budget cuts.

The breakfast meeting will start at 6:45 a.m. and conclude at 8 a.m., following a question-and-answer period. Cost will be $4.50 per person at the door. For more information, call A1 Hutchens, event coordinator, at 347-6220.
