Printz of Amissville left this morning for a four-day trip to Atlantic City, N.J. They will attend the Miss America Beauty Contest while there. Mr. Printz was awarded the trip by People’s Life Insurance Company, where he is employed, for being one of the top 150 agents of the company.
A tented circus touring the Eastern United States will make a one-day appearance, Tuesday, September 12 at Flint Hill under the auspices of the Flint Hill Fire Department, it was announced by M. R. Bradford, Jr., secretary of the fire company.
Mr. Joseph N. Lawler, Enumerator for the Bureau of Census of the Department of Commerce, has been collecting information in the office of the Commissioner of Revenue for two days. The survey, for the 1962 Census of Government is being made in several counties in every state of the United States.
