Fauquier High School in Warrenton will be the site for Introduction to Mass Media, which will meet Monday evenings during the fall quarter. Dave Chester, a veteran print and broadcast journalist with an MA degree from the University of Texas at Dallas and a former communications instructor at George Mason University, will teach this three-credit course. The effect of the bombardment of media, including newspapers, radio, television, films, books, records and tapes on American society will be among the focuses of the course.
