She had exhibited in New York City before coming to this area, and has since had shows in Orange as well as the Middle Street Gallery in Washington. For a week before her presentation Jan. 9, Mrs. Lewis’ works will be on display at the Rappahannock Library.
The program, a feature of the Second Friday Series and part of the library’s effort to offer a once-amonth program of wide interest to residents, is free. The artists presenting the programs, including Mrs. Lewis, do so without stipend.
There will be an opportunity to talk with the artist when refreshments are served after her presentation. The library welcomes all, and invites you to bring a friend. The Friday evening time was chosen to appeal to weekend residents and it is hoped that many of them will attend.
