“Don’t you want 211 widened through Sperryville?” Mr. Anderson asked the Wakefield District representative. •
“That’s up to the people in Sperryville,” Dr. Krebser replied.
“Well, they want it,” noted Mr. Miller, persuading Dr. KrebBer to abandon his opposition to arterial and primary improvements.
By consensus, the commissioners agreed to drop the requirement for a capital improvements plan from the land use guide.
“I just wouldn’t know what to put in the thing,” said Mr. McCarthy.
“You’ve got more pressing things to do with your time,” said Commissioner Miller. “You’ve got a subdivision ordinance to prepare.”
The planning commissioners will continue their review of the comprehensive plan at their January meeting. Following the completion of the revision and the required public hearing, the planners will forward the document to the Board of Supervisors for approval.
