Caesar Bailey Jr.
Caesar Bailey Jr., 73, of Media, Pa., a former resident of Rappahannock County, died Dec. 24 in Media.
Mr. Bailey was born in Amissville, a son of Caesar and Eva Mae Williams Bailey.
He is survived by a son Reginald Bailey of Media, two daughters, Cynthia Bailey and Janice Bailey, both of Media, and four brothers, Harry Baiiey of Plainfield, N. J., Golden, Walter and Gene Bailey, all of Front Royal.
Funeral services were conducted Dec. 28 at St. Paul A.M.E. Church in Media. Burial was Dec. 29 in Greenland Cemetery, Chester, Pa.
Mrs. Bowerselt
Margaret Miller Rucker Bowersett, 91, of Falls Church, formerly of Flint Hill, died Dec. 26 at Royal Haven Rest Home, Front Royal.
Mrs. Bowersett was bora May 7, 1895, in Flint Hill, the daughter of James Irving and Mary Miller Rucker.
She attended Madison College and the College of William and Mary, and was a retired teacher. She was a member of the Arlington Chapter of the United Daughters of Confederacy and of the Litchfield Presbyterian Church in Fauquier County.
Her husband Ahrin Lee Bowersett predeceased her.
She is survived by two daughters, Emily L. Jackemeyer of Middletown and Mary B. Weddle of Falls Church, a sister Katharine W. Rucker of Alexandria, five grandchildren and three great-granchildren.
Graveside services were conducted Dec. 29 at the Orlean Cemetery by the Rev. Richard Winter.
James Kearns
James M. Kearns, 43, of Castleton, died Dec. 26.
Mr. Kearns was a salesman at Reid Chevrolet in Culpeper, and had been a town policeman in Culpeper in the 1960s.
He is survived by his wife Ann R. Kearns of Castleton, a son Michael R. Kearns of Castleton, two daughters, Brenda Foster and Diane Zinn of Warrenton, a brother Paul Kearns, a half-sister Viola Deavers of Warrenton and one grandson.
Graveside services with full military honors were conducted Dec. 30 at the Culpeper National Cemetery by Rev. Milton Switzer.
Julia Lillard
Julia Katherine Lillard, 68, of Front Royal, died Dec. 29 in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal.
Mrs. Lillard was bora Oct. 17, 1918, in Rappahannock County, the daughter of Horace C. Pullen and Lizzie Noakes Pullen. She was a member of the Royal Village Church of God.
Surviving are her husband Robert H. Lillard Sr., three sons, Robert H. Lillard Jr., William A. Lillard and Leroy C. Lillard, all of -Front Royal, a brother J. T. Pullen of Falls Church, two sisters, Ruth Harding of Arlington and Etelee Putnam of
