The sign is up at the Glengary Christmas Tree Plantation operated by Thomas O’Halloran Jr. There is a variety of trees available included are Colorada Blue Spruce, Douglas Fir, white pine, Scotch pine, and Austrian pine in all sizes. Margaret and Thomas O’Halloran Sr. lived in Amissville for more than 30 years. He died on May 31. Thomas Jr., and wife Donna moved to the farm last September. They had lived in Tazewell, Va. for about 16 years. Donna is a math teacher at Fauquier High, while Thomas Jr. operates the farm. Mrs. O’Halloran Sr. is grateful to be surrounded by her family. Included in the household are her grandchildren Thomas W. O’Halloran and Dawna, along with great-granddaughter four-year old Beth.
