Mr. Rayburn Hickerson of Richmond was a Wednesday guest of his brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hickerson.

The Flint Hill Firemen’s Annual Carnival will be held August 3, 4, 5 and 6. Wednesday night will feature family nite with rides all night for $4; Thursday the grand parade will begin at 6:30 p.m.; Saturday night prizes will be given away including a 1988 Plymouth automobile. So plan now to attend this annual event with rides, food and entertainment for all ages, meet old friends and new.

The Administrative Board of the Flint Hill United Methodist Church met on Monday, July 11 at the home of Mrs. Paul Miller. Among those present were Rev. Merlin Shorb, Mr. and Mrs. Moe Walker, Mr. and Mrs. Emory Russell, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Duvall, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Curtis and Mrs. Doug Bywaters.
