Mr. and Mrs. Clarence McCulloch joined Mrs. Moffett Brady at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Crane at Lanham, Md., for the Thanksgiving holiday. They returned home on Sunday, accompanied by Mrs. Brady who had been spending the week there.

Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Lillard spent from Wednesday until Friday of the holiday with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wade at Chantilly.

Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Spence and Sarah of Harrisonburg spent the holiday with Mrs. Spence’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Lee. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Grove and family, Eric and Jennifer of Front Royal joined them on Thursday afternoon.

Guests on Thanksgiving Day of Mrs. Ethel Lillard and family were Mrs. Bonnie Cameron and girls, Kayla and Carrie, Jeff Lillard and Melinda Sexton of Front Royal, Ronnie Lillard of Warrenton and Chucky Presgraves.

Mr. and Mrs. Gary Smith and Karen left for their home in Tempe, Ariz., on Saturday after being houseguests of Jean Lillard for the holiday. They were also visiting the latter’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carson Lillard.

Saturday morning breakfast guests in the Frank Huff home were Frankie and Sherry Huff, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hamill and Robert of New Hampshire.

Little Nikki Calisto, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Calisto was bitten by a black widow spider at her home over the weekend. Nikki was taken to the emergency room and was right sick but is better at this writing. We hope Nikki won’t try picking up any more crawling creatures.

The Flint Hill United Methodist Church will have worship service on Sunday, Dec. 4 at 11:15 a.m. with communion.

The Sperryville Administrative Board met for their regular meeting at the Methodist Parsonage with Merlin and Joy Shorb on Monday evening.
